Advice on Mega.nz best practice

So...I once read that Mega indexes people’s private files and therefore can delete them if the title of the file matches other reported copyright infringement material.

So my question is a) is this true and b) does masking the file name by using characters (so for example j@d@ st3v3ns) help stop this?

in my experience the only problems i've encountered with mega was

1: when you create a link to share with a friend that link is now public and mega can see those files and delete them if they contain copyright material

2: when you select "import to cloud" when accessing someone elses mega and the files get DMCA claimed, they can no longer be accessed by you and will pop up with a "this file breaks our TOS" or sommet like that in your own mega storage (that's why i download the files first then upload them because this gets around that)
